  2. The Dixie Swim Club

    April 28, 2017, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is excited to present “The Dixie Swim Club” By Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten. In The Dixie Swim Club five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina's Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other's lives. The play focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years. Director Megg Hayhurst has been a bright spot on our stage in Honeymoon at Graveside Manor and Pride and Prejudice; this will be her debut as a Director here at the BACP. She has assembled a stellar veteran cast of actresses who are sure to bring these vivid and diverse characters to life on our stage. We hope you will join us in the love, laughter and celebration of friendship.
