CVB Grant Application

Process

The Broken Arrow Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has grant funding available that has been earmarked for marketing of events exhibiting positive tourism potential to the Broken Arrow area. The goal of the CVB Grant is to assist events that the BACVB believe have the potential to grow substantially and generate overnight lodging accommodations in Broken Arrow. Please note that the BACVB will not be the sole source of funding for any event. It is expected that the event organizer has also secured additional funding for the event.  A minimum of five (5) overnight accommodations in Broken Arrow is required per $500 of grant funding requested.  All approved grants are provided on a reimbursable basis, once the required follow-up report and accompanying documents have been received.

NOTE

: Special Event Permit Application must be completed prior to submitting your grant application to the CVB.

Grant Application - Applicants must be seeking to produce and promote a well-defined tourism-oriented festival and/or event in Broken Arrow. A copy of liability insurance will need to be included in the application. A complete application does not guarantee grant funding. Applications MUST be received no later than 90 days prior to the first day of your event.

**Please also submit a completed W9 Form and detailed event budget with your grant application.

The Post Event Summary Form is due no later than 60 days after the final day of your event. Failure to submit this summary on time will jeopardize your organization's ability to receive future BACVB grants and receive reimbursement.  It is the event organizer's responsibility to adhere to the application and post-event summary deadlines.  No reminders will be sent!
